Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Real Madrid have offered Manchester United the chance to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, according to Sport. The Portuguese international’s contract at the Bernabeu expires in 2018 and Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly keen to cash in on the 31-year-old this summer to avoid his value falling next year.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s agent has said a decision on where to move this summer will not be motivated by money. The Swedish striker’s contract with Paris St.Germain runs out this summer which means he’d be able to leave on a free transfer and there will certainly be no shortage of offers.

Man United and Everton sent scouts to watch AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen last weekend. Janssen has been in impressive form for Alkmaar this season, scoring 15 goals in his previous 13 games for the Dutch club.

Thierry Henry believes Jose Mourinho would be a success at Man United if he replaced Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford this summer. Mourinho, sacked by Chelsea earlier this season, has been strongly linked with a move to Man United in recent months and widespread reports suggested that he has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the club.
