Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann this summer, according to MailOnline.
The Frenchman has enjoyed a sensational campaign this term, scoring 30 goals in all competitions for club and country.
However, there are concerns from sources close to Griezmann that he is not yet ready for the physicality of the Premier League.
Chelsea have taken the initiative in the race to sign Griezmann as incoming boss Antonio Conte finalises his transfer plans but Man United have been scouting him.
In any case, Atletico are determined to keep Griezmann and are likely to block and moves for him unless a record breaking offer comes through.
The 25-year-old is entering the prime of his career and it may be a backwards step for him to move to United or Chelsea, who are in transitional phases. But both clubs will have plenty of money to spend in the summer and it will be interesting to see if either can tempt him.
