Rumoured Manchester United target Mauro Icardi has suggested that he could leave Inter Milan at the end of the season.
Inter are currently fourth in the Serie A table, seven points behind Roma, who occupy the third and final Champions League spot.
Icardi refused to rule out a move away from Inter when asked about the subject in a recent interview.
“The possibility to qualify for the Champions League is almost gone, but we will keep on trying,” he said.
“My future without the Champions? I am here to win with this club, but if there will be some offers, we’ll have to talk with the club. I think about playing.”
Icardi has scored 15 goals in the league over the course of the campaign and he is considered to be a bright young talent.
However, there are said to be issues over his temperament and off-field behaviour. United, who have struggled going forward at times this season, could certainly do worse than bring Icardi in but perhaps supporters would rather not see Marcus Rashford’s opportunities being limited.
