Manchester United are interested in signing Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to ESPN.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal by manager Arsene Wenger as he plans a squad overhaul this summer.
Manchester City, West Ham United and Liverpool are said to have registered their interest in the player and Man United are the latest club to join the race.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has found first team opportunities hard to come by at Arsenal this term and he has had a poor injury record in recent years.
Man United are on the lookout for wingers as the likes of Memphis Depay have disappointed this season but there is a question mark over whether Oxlade-Chamberlain would provide a significant upgrade on the club’s current options.
In any case, Wenger has always been reluctant to sell his players to Premier League rivals. The Frenchman reportedly blocked a move from United for Mathieu Debuchy in the winter transfer window.
