Louis van Gaal will be delighted that he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Leicester City on Sunday.
Man United put in an excellent performance in the FA Cup semi-final win over Everton last time out and van Gaal will be keen to build his side’s momentum, as well as keeping them in the hunt for a top four finish in the Premier League, with a win over Leicester.
Aside from the absences of Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger, both injured, United’s squad is in good shape heading into the clash at Old Trafford. Van Gaal may be tempted to continue with a 4-1-4-1 formation against the Foxes, which has served United well in recent weeks.
Wayne Rooney is likely to continue in midfield after impressing there in recent weeks, while Anthony Martial should be full of confidence on the left wing having scored a last-gasp winner against Everton at Wembley.
Daley Blind and Chris Smalling, meanwhile, will be hoping to keep the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Leonardo Ulloa quiet as Leicester look for the win which would guarantee them an unlikely league title. Morgan Schneiderlin, too, will have a say in the holding midfield role.
