Roy Keane was disappointed with Manchester United’s performance against Leicester City in the second half at Old Trafford.
Man United stormed the first 20 minutes and Anthony Martial‘s goal was deserved but after Wes Morgan’s goal we lost our attacking verve completely and never recovered.
Keane expected to see more from United after heading into the game off the back of the brilliant 2-1 win over Everton which sealed a place in the FA Cup final.
I’m just as frustrated as Keane is and he describes the feeling perfectly – flat and disappointed. United knew what was on the line, that a goal was needed to keep our top four chase alive, but the players didn’t really seem to care.
They didn’t put themselves on the line for it when it mattered most and that’s happened all too often this season.
Now we head to Upton Park on Wednesday night knowing that we need results to go our way, as well as winning all of our remaining games, if we are to push for a top four finish.
