Rumoured Manchester United target Renato Sanches has received Association of Sports Journalists’ Liga NOS’s Revelation of the Year award.
Sanches,18, has enjoyed a superb breakthrough season with Benfica, scoring five goals in 33 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese side this term.
Man United have reportedly scouted the midfielder on a number of occasions this season and the club are said to be ready to complete a deal for him worth £46m. Sanches picked up the Revelation of the Year award after receiving 66% of the votes:

There have been doubts over whether Sanches is worth the huge fee being touted but it is clear that he is a prodigious talent.
United have money to spend and, with the team in dire need of improvement, they should absolutely pay a premium if it means the best talent comes to Old Trafford.
Anthony Martial, too, was labelled as a ‘waste of money’ when United chose to pay an initial £36m for him in the summer but he has proven to be a revelation this term. Supporters will be looking for the same impact from Sanches if he does make the move to United.
