Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Jose Mourinho has revealed he will be managing a new club within the next two months and says he will sign a new contract by June 30. The Portuguese boss has been strongly linked with the Manchester United job to replace Louis van Gaal this summer after an abysmal campaign at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane would be willing to join Man United this summer if Mourinho also makes the move to Old Trafford, according to reports. Man United are said to be interested in a £30m move for Varane, who has grown frustrated at a lack of first team opportunities at the Bernabeu this term.

Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has criticised Man United’s transfer policy, saying that the club throw “money around willy nilly.” Van Gaal has spent upwards of £250m since he arrived at Old Trafford in 2014, bringing in the likes of Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw for big-money fees.

Phil Jones believes David de Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world. The Spaniard has enjoyed a scintillating campaign at Old Trafford, regularly pulling Man United out of a hole with quality displays.
