Manchester United’s Anthony Martial has been selected to represent France at the European Championships this summer.

Martial has been named in the 23-man squad alongside the likes of Dimitri Payet, Antoine Griezmann, N’Golo Kante, Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a sensational campaign at Man United this term, scoring 17 goals in all competitions for the Reds. He has been rewarded with his fine form with a place at the Euros:

France are blessed with a wealth of attacking talent but Martial will be pushing hard for a starting spot when the tournament kicks off in the summer.

The youngster has established himself as one of the best attackers in the Premier League since his big-money move from Monaco last year and he deserves all the credit that is coming his way.

United’s troubles up top have been well documented this term, which makes Martial’s goals and assists return all the more remarkable. He will no doubt make a big impression at the Euros but Louis van Gaal will be hoping that Martial can help United end the season on a high note first.
