Ander Herrera admits Manchester United players are nervous inside the dressing room after the game against Bournemouth was abandoned after a suspect package was found at Old Trafford.
Initially, only two stands at Old Trafford stadium were evacuated 30 minutes before kickoff was delayed but the match was called off.
Greater Manchester Police advised traffic to stay clear of the stadium as fans are evacuated and leave the area, however some supporters were told to remain in their seats whist players were told to stay in the dressing room.
Speaking about the situation, Herrera insists the players will be the last ones to leave the stadium.
“It has been very tense and we have all been nervous,” he said.
“We are still in the dressing room and it seems we’ll be the last ones to leave the stadium.”
This is a very serious and worrying situation at the moment. The bomb squad are currently inside Old Trafford trying to deal with the threat.
