Paris Saint-Germain have not contacted Manchester United’s Anthony Martial about a potential transfer, according to RMC journalist Pierre Menes.
Martial has enjoyed a remarkable campaign for Man United this term, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
The Frenchman’s form has reportedly attracted interest from his homeland, with PSG said to be among those interested in his signature. But Menes, answering a fan’s question on Twitter, denied that there had been contact between PSG and United.
“These are phoney reports. Paris have never contacted Martial,” he said.

United have suffered a hugely disappointing campaign under Louis van Gaal this season and supporters have often looked to Martial’s performances as cause for optimism going forward.
The 20-year-old has consistently been United’s most dangerous player this season and the team would be in a much worse situation were it not for his goalscoring heroics. The fact that he has scored 17 goals in a team heavily criticised for their lack of creativity going forward says it all.
Martial will be central to United’s hopes of silverware in the FA Cup final this weekend and he will then be hopeful of impressing at Euro 2016 before kicking on next term.
