Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

Michael Carrick believes he has played his last game at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player, according to MailOnline. The Englishman’s contract with Man United expires in the summer and he is yet to be offered a new deal.

Wayne Rooney believes Marcus Rashford deserves all the recognition he’s received throughout his debut season at Man United, including his recent call-up to England’s Euro 2016 preliminary squad. The Mancuinian striker has quickly burst onto the scene at Old Trafford scoring eight goals in 17 appearances since his debut against FC Midtjylland in February.

Sky Sports pundit Niall Quinn firmly believes Man United have lost their ‘fear factor’ under Louis van Gaal this season. Man United developed a fearsome reputation under Sir Alex Ferguson in years gone by and they famously often won games from losing positions.

James Rodriguez would prefer a move to United this summer if he was to leave Real Madrid, according to ESPN. Rodriguez has become frustrated at Madrid due to a lack of playing time under Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.
