Manchester United fans were delighted with Marcus Rashford‘s performance during their side’s FA Cup final win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The 18-year-old, once again, was a force in attack – this time in the biggest game of his life to date – against a Palace side that struggled to deal with his mazy runs until he was forced off through injury in the second half.
Supporters were quick to heap praise on Rashford:
Does anything faze Rashford? The bigger the occasion, the more fearless he becomes….

I'll like to apologise for ever saying Rashford shouldn't be called up for England

The FA Cup final is an event that often overwhelms. Managers are hesitant to throw inexperienced heads into such a cauldron of noise and pressure. Rashford, however, just three months into his United career, stepped onto Wembley’s hallow turf and gave a masterclass.
His vicious pace and deftness of touch made mincemeat of an otherwise solid Palace defence, and his injury massively thwarted United’s momentum.
On such a big stage, the youngster delivered. And as United prepare for better things next season, Rashford’s future at the club looks massively promising.
