Anthony Martial and Patrice Evra took some time out during international duty with France to visit their old youth team CO Les Ulis.
Both players very early careers started at CO Les Ulis, as did Thierry Henry’s, and neither of them have forgotten their roots.
For Manchester United fans, seeing the pair together is ace – one legend of the club alongside our newest hero. It’s enough to warm the cockles.

Grande fierté de revenir dans le club de mes débuts aux @UlisFootball et de partager ce moment avec les enfants ! pic.twitter.com/dB2gswgOKP

Just to let myself dream for a bit – what an incredible partnership Martial and Evra would have been on the left hand side? At his peak there was arguably no better left-back in the world than Evra and Martial’s already shown in short space of time just how much potential he’s got in the locker. Maybe we’ll get to see the pair in action together at Euro 2016.
In terms of somebody to look up towards, Martial will find no better role model than Evra and if he can get even half the cult status which Patrice has at the club, then he’ll long be remembered as one of our finest ever French players at the club.
