Marcus Rashford trained with England for the first time this week ahead of his expected debut against Australia on Friday.
The 18-year-old was a surprise inclusion from Roy Hodgson in England’s preliminary squad for Euro 2016 after what was a brilliant breakthrough season with Manchester United.
Although Rashford might be one of three players who misses out on the final Euro 2016 squad, it’s a big step on the ladder for him to be included in the preliminary team aged just 18.
Here’s a couple of pictures of Rashford training with England:

I’m delighted for Rashford. What a season he’s had. At the start of 2015/16 he was hoping to break through into United’s U21s team and here he is just nine months later about to make his debut for England.
Rashford completely lives up to the ‘if you’re good enough you’re old enough’ mantra of Sir Matt Busby.
