Manchester United’s Axel Tuanzebe has replaced clubmate Cameron Borthwick-Jackson in England U19’s squad for their upcoming games against Mexico.
The youngsters will take on Mexico in two games on 4 and 6 June at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento national training centre as coach Aidy Boothroyd gets his players ready for July’s Euro Finals in Germany.
It is unclear whether Borthwick-Jackson has suffered an injury but Tuanzebe will be pleased to be involved in his first ever England squad.

Tuanzebe is highly regarded by coaches and fans at Man United and he will be keen to impress ahead of a possible breakthrough into the first team squad under Jose Mourinho next term.
Meanwhile, Borthwick-Jackson has already regularly been involved in first team affairs this season having been given his chance by Louis van Gaal before his sacking on Monday.
Mourinho has had a tendency to overlook youth in the past but he is no fool and he will know that he has to involve players like Borthwick-Jackson and Tuanzebe if he is to keep the fans on his side.
