Jose Mourinho visited Manchester United’s training ground Carrington for the first time as boss this weekend.
Our new boss met Ed Woodward for a guided tour of the complex and got the initial taste of what it will be like as Man United’s manager.
The players won’t be back until the start of July for the pre-season this summer but Mourinho’s got lots of work to be getting on with between now and then, such as putting plans into action in the transfer market.
United fans waited months for speculation linking Mourinho with the United job but on Friday it was finally confirmed. Now he’s getting used to his surroundings in Manchester, I wouldn’t expect it to be long until we see some activity starting in terms of players being sold and Mourinho shaping his team for next season.
