Zlatan Ibrahimovic agrees personal terms with Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s agent, Mino Raiola, has agreed personal terms with Manchester United which have finalised his salary as a free agent and his move to Old Trafford is now all set to be completed as soon as talks with Jose Mourinho are finalised.

The Guardian reports that the deal still relies on Raiola getting a fee for brokering Ibrahimovic’s move but the 34-year-old agreeing on his wages is the biggest step which has been overcome.

He might be 34 but Ibrahimovic scored an incredible 52 goals in 53 appearances for Paris St Germain last season and finished as one of Europe’s most prolific forwards. Having struggled in front of goal under Louis van Gaal and missing out on the Champions League on goal difference, signing Ibrahimovic could prove to be a wonderful move by Mourinho.

There are plenty who feel Ibrahimovic is over the hill and won’t be able to cut it in the Premier League but with 12 titles in his last 13 years in four countries, his record is enviable to say the least and that sort of winning mentality doesn’t exist in United’s dressing room at the moment.

It is believed United want to push through a deal for Ibrahimovic before the start of Euro 2016 in six days time.
