Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his big announcement on Tuesday afternoon by launching his sportswear brand A to Z in a press conference in Paris but all Manchester United fans were interested in were any hints towards what his next club would be.
After being asked a series of questions about A to Z, somebody finally asked him about where his future lay. “My future is A-Z so follow A-Z and you will see my future,” he responded.
Then Ibrahimovic was asked directly whether he would be joining Man United, Zlatan responded: “They will be wearing A-Z in Manchester also, don’t worry. It’s coming there also.”
He was further pushed later in the press conference and said: “There is no confirmation. There is no saying yes. You have to have patience. You are a journalist, no?
“You have to keep wondering where I go + I enjoy these stories. When I am tired, I will let you know where I am going.”
While Ibrahimovic did confirm he would not be going back to Paris St Germain at any point of his career, he kept as tight lipped as well expected in terms of making any sort of announcement which let fans know where he would be heading to next.
Unless something is announced in the next three days then we are unlikely to have any sort of confirmation about Ibrahimovic and his future until after Euro 2016.
To be honest, the press conference to announce A to Z was very odd to watch but I suppose that’s something we’ll have to get used to if we were to sign Zlatan. The wait still goes on to hear any sort of confirmation of who Ibrahimovic will play for next season.
