David Beckham has expressed his excitement for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho next season.
The Portuguese boss was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor at Old Trafford on a three-year contract last month after constant speculation linking him with the Old Trafford role.
Speaking about Mourinho, Beckham admitted his delight to see the former Chelsea boss back in action.
“I think it is perfect,” he said.
“Bring Jose in, I loved him as a manager, bring him back to the Premier League needed to happen.
“It’s not the same without him. I can’t wait to see him. I only hope I can go to the first game.”
Mourinho has a big task on his hands at Old Trafford as he looks to restore Untied back to their glory days after fans have suffered disappointing tenures under Louis van Gaal and David Moyes.
He’s the best man for the job at Old Trafford and it’s an exciting time for fans as he hopes to get the club back to the top after missing out on a spot in the Champions League.
United have been linked with a number of world-class talents with a proposed deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic said to be in the works and there’s no doubt he’ll attract the top names to play at Old Trafford under him.
