Timothy Fosu-Mensah has posted a video to his Instagram account showing him training hard in the gym ahead of an important season at Manchester United.
As he was left out of Danny Blind’s Netherland’s squad, he will be returning to the Aon Training Complex in early July and will have an opportunity to impress Mourinho ahead of the China tour.
Fosu-Mensah was wearing a mask that replicates the effect of altitude training in his video and will be looking forward to getting his season off to the best possible start in China.

Fosu-Mensah enjoyed a spectacular debut season for Man United, he won the match performance at both White and Hart Lane and Upton Park. It’s good to see his head in the right place ahead of the new season.
He’s still very young but he can play a number of defensive positions, he’s physically very strong and has most traits you would want from a youngster. Despite being played at right back last season, he is better suited to a more central role, which where Mourinho may chose to play him next season.
I’m sure for now he’d be happy with any minutes he’s able to get under his belt and his performance against Tottenham underlined how much of a dominating force he can be at the tender age of 18.
