Video: Anthony Martial working hard in training for France ahead of Iceland Euro 2016 fixture

Manchester United’s Anthony Martial has been working hard in training for France ahead of their big Euro 2016 fixture against Iceland at the Stade de France on Sunday.

The Frenchman hasn’t been given much playing time on Didier Deschamps’ side with the likes of Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet impressing, but he could feature against Iceland.

Martial has been in spectacular form at Old Trafford, but is yet to cement his place on Deschamps’ stacked French side.

He’ll be looking to make an impact at the European Championship as he was disappointed to be taken off after 45 minutes against Albania and his new workout video will show the French boss he can rely on him if necessary.

He couldn’t have had a better debut season in England, but the likes Antoine Griezmann, Payet and Kingsley Coman seem to be ahead of Martial in the pecking order and he has to prove himself in France like he did at Old Trafford last season.

There was plenty of pressure on his move to United but Martial has blown away all expectations of himself since his £36m switch from Monaco last summer by scoring 17 goals from the wings in a rigid attacking structure under Louis van Gaal.

Martial was consistently United’s most dangerous attacker over the course of the campaign and will definitely be a deadly asset under new boss Jose Mourinho next season.
