Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed he will be joining Manchester United next season.
The move is yet to be made official by Man United but writing on both his Instagram and Twitter accounts, Ibrahimovic revealed he would be completing the move
The Swede will travel to Carrington along with his agent to have a medical this week.
He wrote: “Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming”
As far as summer signings in the Premier League go, they won’t get much bigger than either Jose Mourinho and Ibrahimovic and for a club who is not playing in the Champions League next season, it’s a real statement of intent.
The big Swedish striker will become our second official signing following the arrival of Eric Bailly from Villareal and further strengthens a squad which just needed some key positions resolved in order for us to challenge next year. Two of those were at centre-back and up front.
Like him or lump him, you can’t argue with Ibrahimovic’s record of 12 titles in the last 13 seasons and in a team which was fragile and lacking in leaders, Zlatan’s arrival could have a huge impact on our trophy hunt next year.
