Ibrahimovic completed his move to Man United on Friday as a free agent after his Paris St Germain contract expired and became the second official signing by Jose Mourinho.
While there was plenty of concern last summer about De Gea leaving for Real Madrid, United now find themselves in a position of power with Mourinho’s arrival and De Gea’s new contract so it looks like the Spaniard will be playing along Ibrahimovic next year which is extremely exciting.
Writing about Zlatan’s arrival, De Gea said: “Welcome to the Theater of Dreams @Ibra_official ?? #ZlatanTime”

Now, not only do we have one of the world’s best goalkeepers at the back but in Ibrahimovic we’ve got one of Europe’s most prolific goal-scorers nestled in the squad with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney – that’s one hell of a strike force.
With De Gea guarding the goal, Ibrahimovic leading by example and the rest of the team following in suit under Mourinho, United will be in their best position in four years to genuinely contend for the Premier League title.
