Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he will do anything he can to help his Manchester United team-mates.

The former Sweden international signed a one-year deal with the Man United and has ended months of speculation surrounding his future.

He will become Jose Mourinho‘s second summer signing following the arrival of Eric Bailly earlier this month.

Speaking about his transfer, Ibrahimovic insists his experience can help Rashford and Martial up front.

“I think I can help them with my experience,” he said.

“I have experience from different cultures and different team-mates, world class team-mates, so I learned from then. First of all it is up to every player.

“If you are professional and working hard enough then you will succeed. You will become a top player.

“I will do my best to help everybody, not only the two names you gave. Even the club, to bring it up to where it belongs and that is at the top of the table.”

For much of last season it was Martial and Rashford carrying the team with their exciting play and goals, but it is unrealistic to expect the same consistency from them all the time at such a young age.

They’ve both been extremely vital to the squad and have proven their worth on the first-team but Ibrahimovic’s arrival will help take the goal-scoring burden off their shoulders.

Ibrahimovic’s arrival could limit Martial and especially Rashford’s place on the team next season, but it needs to be taken as a learning experience where they can play alongside one of the biggest names in the world. He has recently retired from international football and his spell at Old Trafford is only expected to be one or two years, this time will allow Rashford and Martial to develop into big game players at Old Trafford.
