Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed Henrikh Mkhitaryan is in Manchester this Monday to undergo his medical with Manchester United.
Borussia Dortmund’s official account confirmed at the weekend that MKhitaryan, 27, would be moving to Man United this summer but up until this point there has been no comment from United directly.
However, the Armenian midfielder will now undergo his medical and pending the successful completion of that everything should be in place for United to announce Mkhitaryan as Jose Mourinho‘s third major signing this summer.

It’s hard not to be excited about Mkhitaryan’s arrival. On paper, he’s the sort of midfielder we’ve desperately lacked on the right wing since Antonio Valencia was at his peak a few years ago. We’ve missed having somebody with genuine pace and a consistent final ball into the box; Jesse Lingard, for all his qualities in that breakthrough season, wasn’t good enough to do it every game but somebody like Mkhitaryan brings that strength.
The systematic signings made by Mourinho so far have been exactly what United fans expected from him – methodical, precise and necessary. He is not a man how messes around and by the end of the first week in July there is every chance we’ll have Ibrahimovic, Bailly and Mkhitaryan confirmed as United players – that’s the United way, early and swift.
