Ryan Giggs has approved Manchester United’s interest in signing Paul Pogba, despite leaving Old Trafford to pursue a career in management.
Mourinho has been keen on brining Pogba back to Old Trafford after identifying him as the ideal central midfielder to reinforce the team’s spine.
Speaking about a transfer, Giggs insists the Frenchman has all the attributes to succeed at Old Trafford.
“He’s a talented player. He can shoot with both feet,” he said.
“What you don’t realise as well is how big he is. He’s a physical presence. Physically he’s immense. Pogba has got everything.”
Pogba made just seven substitute appearances for United before he joined Juve on a free transfer in 2012. He replaced Giggs to make his debut at Leeds in 2011 and the Welshman realised his special talent.
The Frenchman’s arrival would immediately add plenty of threat up front, Bastian Schweinsteiger is now a doubt to play after suffering a knock to his knee in Saturday’s win over Italy and has been struggling to keep himself match fit.
