Jose Mourinho has accidentally confirmed Manchester United have signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Borussia Dortmund announced at the weekend that Mkhitaryan would be joining Man United but at this moment in time the club haven’t made any official announcement.
However, when asked in his first press conference about what new players he still wanted to bring to Old Trafford, Mourinho accidentally said three players had already been made official before being corrected by United’s press officer, much to the delight of the reporters.
Mkhitaryan will become the third official signing after Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic when the announcement is made this week.
The Armenian midfielder was in Manchester on Monday to complete his medical and now that is out of the way, we are simply waiting for United to unveil Mkhitaryan as a new player at Old Trafford.
It’s been an excellent summer so far for United and at least one more signing is expected as well from Mourinho.
