Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to undergo his medical with Manchester United on Wednesday.
Borussia Dortmund have already announced Mkhitaryan is joining Man United but the formalities behind the deal, namely his wages and a work permit as he is from outside the United Kingdom, are yet to be completed.
However, pending a successful medical there should be no issues stopping United from officially unveiling Mkhitaryan as Jose Mourinho‘s third signing.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan transfer to #MUFC getting closer. Penciled in for medical today. Work permit & personal terms should be a formality.

Of course, Gianluca di Marzio did say Mkhitaryan was to have his medical two days ago but whatever any delays are, they hopefully won’t stop the move being finalised this week.
Mourinho himself already alluded to the fact the Mkhitaryan deal is complete when he said three transfers were already official in his first press conference, only to be informed that wasn’t the case by United’s press officer.
With an early fixture penned in for pre-season against Wigan Athletic, there is every chance United fans will get to see Mkhitaryan make his debut on July 16 because those players involved in Euro 2016 are not going to be part of the squad.
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for United with the announcement of Ibrahimovic, Mourinho’s unveiling and the soon to be signing of Mkhitaryan but I expect it to continue to be busy right up until the start of our pre-season tour in China as Jose wants all of his transfers completed before United leave.
