Paul Pogba to Manchester United for €120m? Fans have their say

by Sam Peoples

Paul Pogba. Ask Manchester United fans who they would love Jose Mourinho‘s fourth signing this summer to be and a large portion of them would say Pogba.

The Frenchman is without doubt one of the world’s best midfielders but after Man United let him leave four years ago, many considered that book closed and the possibility of him joining seemed implausible.

Yet, here we are after reports from Gianluca di Marzio that United have agreed a deal in principle with Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola would be presenting a €120m offer to Juventus after Euro 2016 has finished.

That’s a lot of money, a serious amount of cash, a whole stack of notes. So, we asked our followers – would you want United to sign Pogba for that much money? The response was unanimous.

United fans would love Pogba to come back to Old Trafford and why wouldn’t they? He’s world class and at a time where United are striving to re-build themselves under Mourinho it would be a real statement, a bold announcement that United are back in business at the top of the game.

For me personally, I couldn’t care less how much or little United spend on a player. It’s not my money. All I care about is us having the best possible team to put out every week and if that means breaking the record for a player by signing Pogba for €120m then so be it – rather there than warming the Glazers pockets up.
