The Frenchman has been continuously linked with a world record £100m transfer to Old Trafford from Juventus this summer.
However, BBC claim Man United have not made any moves yet and that discussions have not taken place with Juventus, despite reports earlier in the week suggesting Ed Woodward had already begun talks.
Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has recently confirmed Pogba will not push to leave Juventus and that his agent has been trying to complete a deal for a 20% commission of the fee.
Pogba is currently representing his country at Euro 2016 and a deal is expected to progress only after Sunday’s final against Portugal.
Juventus have continuously refused to comment on speculation around the player, he is contracted with the Serie A champions until 2019 and they can’t be forced into selling their star player.
He spent three years at Man United, but only made just seven appearances before moving to Italy in 2012 on a free transfer. There’s no doubt he’d come back as one of our highest paid players to play a vital role on Mourinho’s side next season.
