Timothy Fosu-Mensah has posted a photo of himself alongside his new agent, Jonathan Barnett.
The Dutchman, who made his debut in a 3-2 win over Arsenal last February, was amongst a number of young talents who broke into the first team last season, featuring eight times.
Barnett also represents the likes of Luke Shaw, Joe Hart and Gareth Bale and is responsible for overseeing the transfer of the latter to Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old has now been added to that illustrious list.
To be represented by such a huge name in the agent business is a massive testament to the way Fosu-Mensah has embraced first team football. He has proven to be a powerful, versatile and composed asset, producing stellar performances at left back and centre back.
Linking up with a high-profile agent sets an important precedent for Fosu-Mensah next season, who will feel impelled to pay back the faith placed him by Barnett in his ability.
