Paul Pogba’s agent fees holding up Manchester United move – report

by Tanveer Arayan

Paul Pogba‘s move to Manchester United has been delayed as negotiations over which party covers the fee for his agent, Mino Raiola, look set to continue, according to Gazzetta World.

Raiola, who has also overseen the transfers of both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford this summer, is reportedly set to receive €24m in light of this transfer.

Juventus have insisted that United ought to cover the full amount, while Jose Mourinho’s outfit want the selling club to make a contribution to the fee as well.

Determining who covers this fee will, according to Marco Credentino, be the final step in completing Paul Pogba’s world record switch from Juventus to United.

These stipulations are commonplace in the world of transfers – especially for what will turn out to be the biggest move in football history.

However, as both United and Juventus enter a crucial stage of their pre-season, the constant noise surrounding Pogba is counter productive. Indeed, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has suspended all talk of the Frenchman in an attempt to avert attention back onto the pitch. Mourinho, who places extreme emphasis on the importance of integration during pre-season, will want to include the 23-year-old in his plans as soon as possible.
