Zlatan Ibrahimovic mobbed by Man United fans in Manchester

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now arrived in Manchester and fans have wasted no time in getting a glimpse of our new signing.

The former Paris St. Germain striker was mobbed in Manchester having arrived this week to begin pre-season training and all eyes are set to be on him this weekend for our friendly against Galatasaray in Sweden.

There aren’t many signing which will be more blockbuster than Zlatan to United this summer. He might have joined on a free transfer but he has built his career on a formidable goalscoring and title winning record which has seen him win the league 12 years out of the last 13 in four different countries. As for goals, he scored 50 last season for PSG and that says it all really.

He might be 34 but Ibrahimovic looks fitter than a lot of players in their mid 20’s so it doesn’t look like that’s going to cause him a problem and if his performances live up to the expectations his confidence have created, Zlatan will be one of the best Premier League players this season.

We’re all sitting here hoping that’s the case because Zlatan, Mkhitaryan, Bailly and the rest of our squad firing on all cylinders puts us right into contention to challenge for the title which is where we need to be.
