Jose Mourinho tells Adnan Januzaj he has no Manchester United future – report

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has recently met with Adnan Januzaj and told him he would not play a part of his first-team plans at Old Trafford, according to reports.

Januzaj is allegedly not interested in a loan deal as he is concerned he won’t be given many opportunities under the Portuguese boss.

Sunderland and Serie A side Lazio are said to be interested in signing the Belgian midfielder and can expect to pay out around £10 million to land his services this summer.

He broke into Man United’s first-team three years ago under David Moyes and made his mark at Old Trafford, but has struggled for form over the past two seasons.

Januzaj spent the last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and wasn’t able reignite his spark, resulting in him returning early to Man United under Louis van Gaal.

Lazio winger Antonio Candreva has completed his transfer to Inter Milan and has left manager Simone Inzaghi needing a replacement – and he sees Januzaj as a viable option.

Sunderland’s new manager, Moyes, is said to be interested in a reunion with Januzaj at the Stadium of Light as he makes his return to the Premier League.
