Nani: Manchester United would be very set if they got Paul Pogba

Former Manchester United winger Nani believes Paul Pogba would be a brilliant addition to any club regardless of his staggering price tag.

The Pogba saga has been the main story of the transfer window in recent weeks for Man United and recent reports claim both clubs have finally reached a deal worth over £100 million.

Jose Mourinho told reporters he wants Man United’s transfer business concluded before their Premier League opener at Bournemouth on August 14.

A confirmation on the Frenchman’s move to Old Trafford could be imminent and Nani claims the 23-year-old possesses an immense amount of talent.

“Pogba is a great there are no doubts about that, but the numbers today are different [in terms of] the way the clubs buy the players,” he said.

“I don’t want to talk about numbers but the player is a fantastic player and any team who buys him will be very well set.”

The potential acquisition of Pogba for Man United is an exciting thought for fans and could have a huge benefit for the club moving forward.

Mourinho would have liked to complete a deal for Pogba early this summer to avoid a transfer saga, but a deal of this size would have been hard to close quickly.

He’s only 23 and would be a brilliant investment for the club, he’s already a world-class talent and will only improve with experience, but time will tell if he’ll be putting his skills to the test at Old Trafford this season.
