Jose Mourinho believes Paul Pogba is one of the best players in the world after sealing a world record deal for the Frenchman.
Man United officially unveiled their new signing on Monday night after Pogba signed a five-year contract to return to Old Trafford this summer.
Juventus will earn £89 million for Pogba’s services, but will be disappointed their star asset decided to leave the club.
Speaking about Pogba, Mourinho insists he has the chance to be at the heart of the club for the next decade.
“Paul is one of the best players in the world and will be a key part of the United team I want to build here for the future,” he said.
“He is quick, strong, scores goals and reads the game better than many players much older than he is.
“At 23, he has the chance to make that position his own here over many years. He is young and will continue to improve. He has the chance to be at the heart of this club for the next decade and beyond.”
It’s a brilliant signing for the club and his arrival will represent the Jose’s new era at Old Trafford as the Portuguese boss looks to leave his mark on the club.
He has acquired the services of Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitarayn, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pogba, despite only being appointed as manager in May.
Mourinho has plugged the gaps on the side and it looks like he finally has everything in place to succeed at Old Trafford.
