Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger attracting interest from Premier League clubs

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has been attracting interest from Premier League clubs, according to reports.

The German international arrived at Old Trafford last summer under Louis van Gaal and looks set to be on the move once again.

He hasn’t been able to make the impact fans were hoping for and suffered an injury-plagued debut season at Man United.

The Press Association reports the 32-year-old is attracting plenty of interest, with several Premier League clubs interested in his services, it also states Man united are confident his wages will not prove a stumbling block in negotiations.

Schweinsteiger arrived as a midfield general and looked to be a solid investment, but injuries have stopped him from reaching his full potential as he enters the latter stages of his career.

It looks like his time at Old Trafford is coming to an end as he was left out of Mourinho’s squad for the pre-season and Wayne Rooney‘s testimonial.

Reports suggest he was told to train with the reserves, but hopes are Bastian is able to find a club he will enjoy playing at if he isn’t being offered a place at Man United.
