Adnan Januzaj had a mixed performance on his full debut for Sunderland in their 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough.
There were some real quality moments from the Belgian where he danced past Middlesbrough’s defence but unfortunately for him his final delivery wasn’t up to scratch and nor was his finishing.
It was good to see him running at defenders with confidence but he’ll need to improve on his final product to keep a spot in David Moyes’ starting teams.
Januzaj is to easily bullied by opposition he has to toughen up or he will be dropped by Sunderland

Think Adnan Januzaj's got class, but they need more in the middle. McNair and Pienaar not good enough at this level #safc

januzaj is such an unfinished product. I know it's early days at a new club but you can see why he was sent on loan

I’ve got really high hopes for Januzaj this season under Moyes. He might not have been the right manager for United but after playing under managers who didn’t trust him, Moyes is perfect for Januzaj and he’s in an excellent situation having had a troublesome couple of seasons.
Januzaj is one hell of a player but we’re yet to see him build on that breakthrough season under Moyes. Hopefully that changes this year and Januzaj finds his best form again because he’s one of my favourite academy graduates in recent years.
