Monaco defender Fabinho has refused to rule out a move to Manchester United this summer.
The 22-year-old came under Louis van Gaal‘s radar last year, but reports suggest a move could still be on the cards even tough his move failed to materialise.
Last week his wife added fuel to the fire as she followed Man United on Instagram amid speculation that the Brazilian could complete a transfer to Old Trafford.
Speaking about a potential move, Fabinho claimed his future at Monaco was not certain.
“With the Champions League, it’s not bad staying at Monaco,” he said.
“I’m not certain of staying, but at the same time, there’s more of a chance of me staying than leaving.”
He is represented by Jorge Mendes, who has built up a great relationship with Man United over the years after facilitating deals for Jose Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea, Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao.
He has played a vital role for Leonardo Jardim’s side and scored a 90th-minute winner in their Champions League qualifier over Villarreal, helping them achieve a group stage spot.
A move could be on the table as Mourinho has been said to be actively searching for a new defender to bolster his options for the new season and he has proven his ability to attract new players after signing all four of his fundamental signings.
