Rashford had been left as an unused substitute in Man United’s first two Premier League fixtures against Bournemouth and Southampton.
Sam Allardyce also resulted in dropping the youngster from his England squad because he wasn’t picking up regular football at Old Trafford.
Speaking about his talent, Gullit insists he will be a great player for Man United.
“What I like about Rashford is that he goes straight past players,” he said.
“He gives you opportunities. I hope Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho considers him more because he’s a great player.”
He was involved in 11 of the last 12 Premier League games last season and played a vital role for Man United under Louis van Gaal.
Rashford has always made his presence felt on the pitch whether it be for club or country and hopes are he’ll have many chances to impress as he has a massive future ahead of him at Old Trafford.
Mourinho gave him a chance with 20 minutes to go against Hull and it paid off, he has proven he can be trusted to score goals when he’s needed and I’m sure the Portuguese boss will feel more comfortable using his talents again in the bigger games of the season.
