Sergio Aguero is facing a potential retrospective three game ban after attempting to elbow Winston Reid in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over West Ham United.
As the referee did not see the incident, the FA can retrospectively ban Aguero for violent conduct. Here is a video of the incident:

Any ban for Aguero would of course rule him out of the Manchester derby in two weeks and that would obviously be a massive boost for Man United because he is their real danger man having been in excellent form already this season.
United fans will point towards the FA’s decision last year to ban Marouane Fellaini for lashing out with an elbow on Leicester City’s Robert Huth after he pulled his hair and will want some consistency with the decision when it comes to Aguero.
If the FA do decide to do nothing, there will no doubt be some serious questions asked about their decision making process.
