The Swede has joined Man United on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer and has gotten his career off to a perfect start with four goals in four appearances.
He has won titles all over the world and will undoubtedly be looking to add the Premier League title to his glowing array of trophies during his time under Jose Mourinho.
Speaking about Ibrahimovic, Shaw insists he has been a very nice guy and brings plenty of experience to the club.
“He doesn’t miss anything,” he said.
“He sees it all and, if you’re not putting the effort in, he’ll tell you.” How exactly? “To me: ‘Shaw.’ He doesn’t shout it but, when he says my name, I know what he means.
“A lot of people were wondering how he was, having seen him on videos, and whether he’d be the same person. But he’s such a nice guy. Jose said it – he’s always around the younger lads, bringing that experience. It’s not just the younger ones – those getting older look at him as well and see what he’s done in his career. [It’s] his aura, his presence. But he’s got good stories as well. Sitting at the dinner table, he tells a lot of jokes, but he wants the best from everyone as well.”
Ibrahimovic’s arrival at the club has been excellent so far and his impact has been felt not only on the pitch, but off the pitch, his aura in the dressing room will be inspirational for all of United’s youngsters.
His brilliant start to life in England has highlighted his ability to perform in the most competitive league in the world and Zlatan has gone the right way about proving his critics wrong by doing what he does best, scoring goals.
