Sergio Aguero will miss the Manchester derby this weekend after being charged with violent conduct by the FA.
The Argentinian now has to serve a three-game suspension including Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

A statement from the FA read as follows: “The Manchester City forward was involved in a 76th-minute incident with West Ham United’s Winston Reid on Sunday [28 August 2016], which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.
The club denied the charge and submitted further that, if it was to be found proven, the standard punishment would be clearly excessive.
On finding the charge proven at a hearing today (Friday 2 September 2016), an Independent Regulatory Commission went on to reject the club’s further claim to decrease the three-match ban.”
It was no surprise to see City try and contest the charge but the right decision was certainly made by the FA.
There is no doubting this is a real boost for United ahead of the derby because as much threat as City have in their squad without Aguero, he’s their leading goal threat and they are less dangerous without him in the team.
This derby on Saturday is going to be one of the biggest ever between the clubs. with Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho in charge, it’s a real blockbuster and heading into the game now it is advantage to United following Aguero’s ban. That being said, the players will need to be careful to become complacent now that City’s main striker is out but I’m sure they won’t be – at least, I hope they won’t be.
