After the arrival of Paul Pogba this summer at Manchester United, there aren’t many transfers fans will feel are out of the club’s reach in the future.
So, when Pogba posted a picture of him alongside French team-mate Antoine Griezmann, tongues were wagging and thoughts of the Atletico Madrid star man joining Pogba at Old Trafford began to surface. After all, if we can bring back the player who left us then why couldn’t we bring in Griezmann?
I mean, what a signing that would be. Griezmann was deservedly named best player at Euro 2016 after a stunning individual campaign and I really don’t know how Atletico got him so easily when he left Real Sociedad because he was already a brilliant player then.
I know I know – there’s not much point talking about new signings so soon after the summer, especially when we haven’t even seen what Henrikh Mkhktaryan can do at the club but it doesn’t hurt to dream a bit does it? After all, it wouldn’t get much better than seeing Griezmann come in and replace Wayne Rooney‘s position in the squad.
