Jose Mourinho has confirmed there are currently no injuries in his press conference ahead of the Manchester derby.
Manchester United take on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Old Trafford on September 10 and the Portuguese boss has confirmed he has plenty of options.
There were doubts with Luke Shaw after he returned from training with England early, while Antonio Valencia will also be available, despite only returning from international duty a day before the match.
Speaking in his press conference, Mourinho revealed everyone was available and ready to play.
“Everybody is available,” he said.
“It’s not the same as if we were here all week and working, resting and not travelling, but there are no injuries and everybody has returned safely and on time for at least one training session.
“Everybody is ready and wants to play, of course.”
It’s brilliant to hear the squad are in good shape after the international break, Mourinho undoubtedly has a massive pool of options ahead of the derby and it’ll be interesting to see who he plays.
Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also be feature, but the Portuguese boss has confirmed the Armenian midfielder may not be able to play the full 90 minutes.
