Manchester United fans were left frustrated after another lackluster display from Wayne Rooney.
It was Manchester derby No.25 for Rooney and he failed to make a solid impact against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
The 30-year-old has excellent vision, but his recent form has left his performances below average, resulting in fans urging Mourinho to drop him.
Here’s what fans on Twitter had to say about Rooney’s showing.
Rooney has lost it. He has nothing. can't pass, can't shoot, can't dribble. I don't know what's happened in 2 years but his demise is ????

Rooney was fielded behind Ibrahimovic in the first-half, but after 45 minutes he was deployed on the right-wing. The strategy was to get crosses into the box into the big Swede, but with only 19% cross accuracy, most of his 16 crosses ended up going to waste.
Not only did he not do enough on the ball, his runs were also poor and he found it difficult to pose any sort of threat, giving the ball away easily each time he picked it up.
The Portuguese boss has stated he won’t be afraid to drop the Englishman after his dip in form, but he wasn’t solely to blame as his team-mates made plenty of mistakes awarding City with three vital points.
