Jose Mourinho has a full Manchester United squad at his disposal for today’s Manchester derby against City.

There were a number of players who were injury concerns including Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan who both flew back from international duty during the week.

Marouane Fellaini and Antonio Valencia both had question marks over their heads as well but Mourinho confirmed ahead of the game that he had no injury concerns.

He said: “Everybody is available,” Mourinho said at his Friday press conference. “It’s not the same as if we were here all week and working, resting and not travelling, but there are no injuries and everybody has returned safely and on time for at least one training session. Everybody is ready and wants to play of course.

“Antonio [Valencia] was able to get one flight direct to Madrid and then to London and Manchester, an easy one. Sergio [Romero] and Marcos [Rojo] went around the globe! They played in Venezuela and then went to Argentina and then, from there, they came back to Europe but they came back in time for training this morning.

“We are fine. We are ready. We are waiting.”

Here is Man United’s squad which checked into the Lowry Hotel on Friday night as they always do ahead of a home game: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Bailly, Shaw, Fellaini, Herrera, Schneiderlin, Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Mata, Lingard, Young, Rashford, Martial, Rooney, Ibrahimovic
