Jose Mourinho believes Marcus Rashford looked like he was playing for the Under-18s against Salford City during the Manchester derby.

He has quickly burst onto the scene at Manchester United after being given his chance in the first-team by Louis van Gaal last season.

Rashford’s emergence as one of the top young talents in football also saw him included in England’s Euro 2016 squad.

Speaking about his talent, Mourinho praised the youngster for his composure against Manchester City.

“The kid [Marcus Rashford, who came on at half-time] looks like he is playing for the Under-18s against Salford City,” he said.

“Every individual reacts to demands of the occasion in different ways.”

His incredible rise has only gotten better after he bagged a hat-trick on his England Under-21 debut earlier in the week, after finding the winner against Hull City.

Rashford has been consistently performing and had a spectacular solo goal ruled out for offside as it came off Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was stood four yards offside.

Mourinho was pleased with his efforts and picked up on the fact that he always looks at home on the senior side where he belongs, no matter what he’s doing he always looks ice-cool.
