Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones are the only two absentees from Manchester United’s final training session ahead of Feyenoord on Thursday.
Reports suggest Mkhitaryan has aggravated his thigh injury which he suffered during the international break and could miss our next three games. He certainly won’t play against Feyenoord.
As for Jones, it seems fitting that he is injured for the first game he could have an opportunity to play in. Typical Jones, always injured. It’s a sad state of affairs now isn’t it?
Here is Man United’s full training squad via Manchester Evening News: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone, Valencia, Fosu-Mensah, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Bailly, Rojo, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba, Carrick, Lingard, Mata, Young, Memphis, Martial, Ibrahimovic Rashford, Rooney
All in all we’ve got a very strong squad there and as it is the Europa League I do expect Jose Mourinho to ring in the changes ahead of our Premier League game against Watford on Sunday. The good thing is with so few injuries he’s got excellent options to bring in such as Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay.
We’ll bring you all the latest updates from Mourinho’s press conference later on today.
